WHO WE ARE

The beautiful hamlet of Sunset View Beach is situated along the fringe of the "boreal forest" on the east shore of Turtle Lake Saskatchewan. Located 100km north west of the city of North Battleford and 130 km north east of the city of Lloydminster SK/AB. SSVB is an easy commute for a weekend, summer or winter vacations or for some, a permanent residence.

 

Sunset View Beach boasts 2 beaches and boat launches. With a beautiful playground and green space for families, along with fishing, spending time at the beach or taking in the near by private walking paths in the boreal forest for SSVB residents and guests, the area provides something for everyone. With 133 residences (2021 Census) and 245 cottages the community is perfect for making lasting "Memories" with family and friends.

SSVB Board

The Sunset View Beach Board is an elected advisory board. They are responsible for and provide oversight to the maintenance and upkeep of the Hamlet. The board member's are volunteers and have no authority to make policy or approval of finances. They do have influence in how maintenance of hamlet are managed and are leaned on by the RM of Mervin for their insights.

Marina Board 

The Sunset View Marina Association is a Non Profit association formed to administer the ownership and use of a multi slip marina located on Turtle Lake, Sask. The marina is private property and is maintained for the convenience of its members, permitting each member to install a boat in a pre-assigned slip”

There are a total of 35 slips and at present we have a waiting list.

Member’s must own property at SSVB. Your slip can be sold with your property or turned back to the association if you choose to sell.
